Home | Bladedancers FAQ 1) What is "Bladedancers?" A) It is a spinoff to CIB, that started March 4, 2006. 2) No, I mean what is a Bladedancer? A) A Bladedancer is a member of the Order of the Dancing Blade, a faction that debuted in the CIB story "Bladedancers." The faction itself is a Knightly Order. 3) This looks like a Ninja Turtles Knockoff. A) Rest assured that it isn't. Unlike the Turtles, this series will be dark at times, and yes, blood will be spilled. If anyone in this comic gets hit by a sword, the damage will be shown. 4) In Bladedancers, there is mention of five schools- Earth, Fire, Wind, Water and Void. Those sound familiar... A) Nope, not Captain Planet. They are all scrolls from The Book of Five Rings by Musashi Miyamoto. 5) Would many of their techniques actually work? Much of their training is based on the same type used by real-life martial artists all over the world. And yes, even the methods of communication borrow heavily from Eastern culture and philosophy. In addition, certain aspects of Norse codes are brought into play as well. 6) Is it in the same continuity as CIB? Yes. It is, and that is the way I want it. Events from one comic will affect the other. Home
